Backed by top investors like 500 Startups and Surface Ventures, we are accelerating our growth and looking for a talented Backend Engineer to join our technical team.
You’ll be part of a highly collaborative and supportive technical team that fosters a positive work environment. We consistently apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles across all projects, ensuring well-structured and scalable solutions. The work is intellectually stimulating, with minimal routine tasks, and often involves solving complex, non-trivial challenges.
In this role, you will:
- Build and maintain highly loaded APIs for mobile SDK and frontend teams (dashboards).
- Work with queues using Dramatiq and follow Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.
- Handle tasks like OAuth (FB, Google, AppleID) and refactor attribution processes.
- Improve error handling for integrations and fetch products from stores via API.
- Tools: Python, Django, DRF, ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes.
You will be a great fit if you have:
- 5+ years of experience as a backend engineer with Python and experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Proficiency in building and optimizing APIs in high-load environments.
- Experience with Django, FastAPI, or message brokers like Kafka/RabbitMQ is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
- Great teamwork skills and the ability to own decisions and suggest tradeoffs when necessary.
